Fred. Olsen Renewables Mid Hill Wind Farm Open Weekend
A three-day event at Mid Hill Wind Farm to engage local communities in a positive way.
On the first day, we welcomed students from North-East Scotland College and University of Aberdeen to support their studies in renewable energy. The rest of the weekend was full of family fun with guests being welcomed to the site by stilt walking forest creatures from Rowanbank Environmental. They were led on a magical and educational treasure hunt across the wind farm, whilst learning about the environment and energy.
Local Castleton Farm provided wonderful catering and Maison Dieu were onsite treating guests to a full barista menu of coffees and refreshments.
