Fred. Olsen Renewables Rothes Wind Farm Open Weekend
Engaging the local community and working with local suppliers at every turn, made for a fantastic weekend up on the sunny hills of Speyside.
The weekend was full of family fun with guests being welcomed to the site by stilt walking, acrobatic, piano-playing forest creatures. They were led on a magical and educational treasure hunt across the wind farm, before returning to the marquee for in insightful talk from local beekeeper Triskele Honey. Guests learnt all about bee keeping, saw a live beehive and got to taste-test beautiful locally made honey. The Highland Coffee Academy kept caffeine cravings at bay and The Gather'n Cafe supplied a locally-made lunch.
