Kype Muir Wind Farm Extension Official Launch

Sixty guests including members of the local community came together to celebrate the planning, construction, operation and future benefits of OnPath Energy’s new site, officially opened by Labour MP for East Kilbride and Strathaven, Joani Reid.

Guests were transported onto the wind farm via 100% electric vehicle for coffees and fresh pastries from local barista, before speeches, a plaque unveiling and a ribbon cutting which officially declared the wind farm open.

Guests enjoyed presentations, a fun engagement activity and a networking lunch back at local countryside venue, where local school children were also  presented with prizes for naming the turbines! Photography credit: Andrew Godfrey
